Rachel joined Talbots in 2014 and has never looked back! As CPO and a key part of the Management Team, she works closely with key people across the business to ensure the Company achieves its strategic, operational and departmental objectives as set out in the Business Plan.

Passionate about effective HR and empowering people to reach their full potential, Rachel advocates a values-led and hands-on approach to HR believing that people are the most important element in any successful business. Her responsibilities stretch across the Talbots ‘group’ and encompass all aspects of HR & recruitment such as employee performance, talent management, L&D and the management of Talbots’ Trainee Solicitors and Apprenticeship programmes.

Born and bred in Stourbridge, Rachel obtained 4 A Levels from King Edward VI College before gaining her degree in English Literature & the History of Ideas at the University of Kingston-upon-Thames. In addition to her academic studies Rachel has chosen to undertake an extensive portfolio of training courses including management, leadership, sales & marketing, HR, Neuro-Linguistic Programming, risk management, compliance.
