Lawyers that speak your language

Engaging a legal firm can be daunting and the fear of being overcharged or confused due to not understanding the language used by solicitors is a barrier for some people who require support.

At Talbots we are different.

Our tone is conversational and our aim is to avoid legal jargon wherever possible. We showcase our expertise not through long words, but by communicating technicalities clearly and simply.

Our culture is one of accessibility, approachability and expertise and it’s why more than 40,000 people across England and Wales rely on Talbots for their legal needs, every single year.

Our Story

Who we really are

Talbots Law is a full service independent law firm, an employee-owned trust, rated by customers as one of the top law firms in each of our areas on ReviewSolicitors, with the accolade of being one of the top 20 law firms to work for in the UK.

How we work

We offer you all the usual legal services, like wills, employment advice, divorce, business services and help moving home.  Our “For Law For Life” mantra underpins our desire to be a long-term partner to our clients, no matter which legal service our clients need.

The Talbots story

There has been a Talbots law firm since 1828, operating from our Kidderminster office.  Talbots Law in its current form opened its doors in 1991 offering Conveyancing services.  We still do that,   but much has changed.  Take a look at our story.
