Conveyancing Administrators, Residential Property (Administrator, Graduate or Apprentice)

The success of our residential property department is primarily due to the passion, skills and experience of the people within it. It’s also the reason why career development is part of the Talbots’ success story. The passion and expertise of conveyancers at all levels allows for employees with a genuine interest in property law to further their careers, learning as they work and progressing within the Company.

Due to internal promotion and the growth in the demand for our services, we currently have several opportunities for entry-level roles in our conveyancing teams.

These training roles offer local candidates the opportunity to learn whist working and making a valuable contribution to the success of their team. Apprenticeships (Paralegal Level 3) will be considered for suitable candidates on successful completion of a six-month probationary period.

Previous qualifications in law are not essential. Conveyancing Administration roles are offered as either:

  • Graduate roles (regardless of discipline);
  • Entry level roles for students studying their Legal Practice Course part-time;
  • Experienced administrators wishing to transfer their skills to legal practice;
  • Apprenticeships (Level 3).

The key skills and abilities that we are looking for are:

  • A genuine interest in starting a career in conveyancing;
  • Excellent administration and organisation skills with accurate attention to detail;
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for client care;
  • Strong communication skills, good grammar and maths ability.

We are currently recruiting for the following locations:

  • Wolverhampton – part-time
  • Dudley – full-time
  • Stourbridge – full-time

We are only able to offer a limited number of placements according to business capacity / need and the associated cost of providing such placements.
