Nirmal Sira is an Associate Solicitor in the Private Family Team, based in our Coventry office.

Nirmal qualified as a Solicitor in November 2018 and has experience in dealing with divorce matters, financial settlements arising from divorce, private children’s matters and in cases of domestic violence. Due to practising in multiple linked areas, Nirmal has a robust approach to dealing with matters and handles them in a pragmatic and thoughtful manner in order to provide the best results for her clients.

After gaining her LLB Hons from Coventry University in 2010, Nirmal went on to study for her LPC at the University of Law in Birmingham in 2012.  She is a member of Resolution

Nirmal’s experience in Family Law since 2013, includes dealing with applications for child arrangements order, divorce, financial settlement, applications for non-molestation orders and occupation orders and defending such cases.  She has worked in firms in the West Midlands and London expanding her knowledge and expertise whilst working with a range of clients and dealing with various situations.  She does her best to liaise with both parties to come to an agreed settlement amicably, reducing animosity and stress between the parties in all matters be it Divorce, Financial Settlement or Children’s matters. She is sensitive to each client’s circumstances and effectively conveys their position to the other side.  Nirmal has previously conducted a lot of cases for fathers ensuring they were provided with the correct representation to seek child contact arrangements following false allegations of domestic abuse.
