A huge “well done” is in order for the twelve participants of our 2024 Graduate Vacation Scheme, who all made it a two weeks to remember.
We welcomed twelve aspiring lawyers into the business between the 1st-14th July, offering them the opportunity to experience life as a trainee solicitor here at Talbots.
The participants each did a day in a different area of our Business Services team, working closely with mentors in each team and under the supervision of each relevant Head of Department.
As well as building a working idea of how life as a lawyer can look, the cohorts also had to prepare individual presentations for the end of their week in the business, with the goal of hopefully earning a training contract here at Talbots down the line.

The scheme was the brain-child of Rachel Pardoe, James Monk and Mike Linford, who head up our HR, Employment and Company Commercial teams, respectively.

In week one, we were joined by Avika Korrin, Finley Morgan, Katie Hazeldine, Maisie Halton, Rumman Ahmed and Willohe Barber, pictured here with Rachel Pardoe (HR Director) and James Monk (Employment Director).
Week two of the Graduate Vacation Scheme saw us welcome Annabelle Murphy, Chevonlee Weston-Jones, Deena Rana, Deerash Singh, Ilja Snetkovs and Joshua Bird, pictured below alongside Rachel Pardoe and Mike Linford (Company Commercial Director).
