There are lots of reasons to make a Will, yet despite this more than half of adults living in the UK do not have a valid Will.

Without a Will, the Rules of Intestacy will say who will inherit your estate and who can apply to administer your estate and this may not be who you want it to be.

Why make a Will?

  1. You choose who should administer your estate (family/friend/firm of solicitors)
  2. It makes the process easier for your nominated representatives
  3. To appoint Guardians for your children.
  4. You can make provision for your pets.
  5. You can make specific gifts of personal items or money.
  6. You can leave a legacy to a charity.
  7. To ensure your share of joint property passes to the person of your choice
  8. You control who receives your estate and who does not.
  9. To make your funeral wishes known.
  10. It may be possible to reduce Inheritance Tax liability.
  11. Avoiding family disputes.

We can make the process of making a Will seem straightforward and it will give you invaluable peace of mind.
