Ready To Sell: Leasehold Property Sale Service

Our Ready To Sell service accelerates the sales process for leasehold properties by doing the legwork before a buyer is found, often saving clients’ weeks (if not months!) from accepting an offer to completion.

Ready To Sell service for leasehold properties

Leasehold properties historically take longer to sell than freehold properties, as there are more third-parties involved in the conveyancing process and more legal complexities to navigate.

Which is why we have launched “Ready To Sell”, which does exactly what it says on the tin. If you are selling a leasehold property and engage our Ready To Sell service, we will do as much of the legal work as possible before you have accepted an offer. This will include things like requesting and processing the management pack for your property, navigating the Buildings Safety Act (if your property is in a building that is more than 11 metres high) and various other tasks that can normally delay the conveyancing process.

“We have been early-adopters of Talbots’ Ready to Sell service and proactively recommend when referring clients.

Phil and his team are our go-to conveyancing team and to be able to tell our clients that we are referring them to a company that is winning awards and providing additional value through initiatives like “Ready To Sell” makes those conversations so much easier to have.

We’ve already seen the service take weeks off the sale timeline for some clients and we’re delighted to support it.”
