Sophie Sowinski

HR & Payroll Manager (Senior Associate)

Sophie’s role as HR Manager & Associate involves managing and co-ordinating the HR operational and administrative function across all our offices.

After completing her LLB Law Degree (2:1), with a focus on Employment Law at Birmingham City University in 2015, Sophie then went on to study PgDip Human Resource Management at BCU, undertaking research into Apprenticeships and Learning & Development specifically within the legal sector.  She achieved a CIPD level 7 qualification in 2017 and is an Associate Member of the Institute.

Sophie joined Talbots in June 2015, after a period of work experience earlier that year, whilst completing her studies.  She has progressed from her starting role as HR Administrator, to HR Executive in 2018, Associate in 2021, HR Manager in 2023, HR & Payroll Manager in 2024 and Senior Associate in 2025.
