Our Agricultural Law team has grown with the appointment of Sara Pickerin and Nicholas Playford as directors. Their arrival brings our specialist team to four directors and strengthens the expertise we can offer our clients across all areas of rural and agricultural law.
Expanding Our Expertise in Agricultural and Rural Law
At Talbots Law, we support farmers, landowners, and rural businesses with practical, specialist legal advice. Our Agricultural team covers all common areas of rural law, from strategic land management to farm diversification projects. This work often includes the repurposing of farmland for alternative ventures such as solar panel installations.
With Sara and Nicholas in the team, we are even better placed to guide our clients through the challenges and opportunities of modern agriculture. Our team help them futureproof their businesses and make the most of diversification opportunities.
Part of Our Ongoing Growth
The expansion of our Agriculture team reflects our wider growth strategy. Since 2021, Talbots Law has grown from four offices and an £18m turnover to 19 offices and £40m turnover in 2025. This growth allows us to provide specialist legal advice to more clients across England and Wales while maintaining the high level of service our clients expect.
Sean Spinetto, Head of Agriculture at Talbots Law, said:
“We’re thrilled to welcome Sara and Nicholas as directors within our team. Attracting senior talent of their calibre reflects the reputation we’re building in the agricultural sector and strengthens our ability to support farmers, landowners, and rural businesses with the challenges and opportunities they face, particularly around land diversification and futureproofing agricultural enterprises.”
Supporting Rural Communities Across England and Wales
Our Agricultural Law team operates across all Talbots offices, with a strong presence in rural hubs including Leek, Market Drayton, Telford, and Worcester. We support clients throughout Staffordshire, Warwickshire, Worcestershire, Cheshire, the Black Country, Shropshire, and beyond, ensuring our clients have local access to specialist agricultural legal advice.
With Sara and Nicholas joining the team, we continue to build on our commitment to providing high-quality, practical legal services tailored to the needs of the rural and agricultural community.
