We’re delighted to welcome Lauren Robinson to Talbots Law as a solicitor in our specialist Contested Probate Team, based at our Coventry Office.
Lauren’s appointment marks another important step in our commitment to offering clients access to expert legal advice in even the most complex areas of law. Contested probate—where wills or the administration of estates are disputed—is a niche area that many firms are unable to support in-house. With Lauren’s arrival, we continue to strengthen our team of experienced solicitors specialising in this complex field, further establishing Talbots as the go-to solicitors for estate disputes.

The team has a wealth of knowledge and expertise in this field. I will be based out of the Coventry office, the city where I grew up, which makes this opportunity even more meaningful for me. Lauren joins us at a time of continued growth for the firm. Originally founded in Kidderminster in 1828, Talbots now has 14 offices across five counties and more than 500 staff. Our expansion into Coventry in May 2023 has allowed us to broaden our reach and strengthen our presence in the West Midlands and Warwickshire.
The growth of our Contested Probate Team reflects a strategic focus on investing in specialist areas to meet rising client demand. It’s part of a wider journey of excellence for our Dispute Resolution team, which was recently awarded a Tier 2 ranking in the 2025 Legal 500—a recognition of both our technical expertise and the results we deliver for clients.
