Jamie Davies is a Solicitor in the Franchising Team, based at our Stourbridge office.  He assists all kinds of clients, including individuals, companies, charities, pension funds, and franchisees. Jamie undertakes and assists with a variety of commercial property transactions, including sales, purchases, remortgages, new or renewal commercial leases, and lease assignments.  He is also heavily involved with franchising matters, assisting Nicola Reeve, Head of Department, with the work she undertakes on behalf of franchisees.

After taking some time to build up his work experience in two non-legal roles, Jamie graduated from the University of Law in 2021 with a Distinction in his combined Legal Practice Course and MSc in Law, Business and Management, which he completed whilst working part time at West Midlands Ambulance Service.

After graduating from the University of Birmingham in 2018, Jamie had two non-legal roles before starting his legal career. His first job was an office admin role (which briefly included some telesales work), followed by a role at West Midlands Ambulance Service as a Controller/Planner for the Non-Emergency Patient Transport Service.

Jamie started his legal career in 2022 at a local Bromsgrove firm, as a Legal Assistant to the Commercial Property department, assisting on various commercial and development files.  He joined Talbots at the start of 2023, initially as a Legal Assistant in the National Conveyancing Department, before moving to the Commercial Property department in July 2023. Since joining the Commercial Property department as a Trainee Paralegal, he has progressed to being a Paralegal in November 2023 and started his Training Contract in April 2024, qualifying in February 2026.
