Jamie Davies is a Solicitor in the Franchising team, based at our Stourbridge office.

He undertakes and assists with a variety of Franchising transactions, helping Franchisees across the country, under the stewardship of the head of department, Nicola Reeve.

After graduating from the University of Birmingham in 2018, Jamie had two non-legal roles before starting his legal career. His first job was an office admin role (which briefly included some telesales work), followed by a role at West Midlands Ambulance Service as a Controller/Planner for the Non-Emergency Patient Transport Service.

Jamie graduated from the University of Law in 2021 with a Distinction in his combined Legal Practice Course and MSc in Law, Business and Management, which he completed whilst working part time at West Midlands Ambulance Service.

Jamie started his legal career in 2022 at a local Bromsgrove firm, as a Legal Assistant to the Commercial Property department, assisting on various commercial and development files. He joined Talbots at the start of 2023, initially as a Legal Assistant in the National Conveyancing Department, before moving to the Commercial Property department in July 2023. Since joining the Commercial Property department as a Trainee Paralegal, he has progressed to being a Paralegal in November 2023 and started his Training Contract in April 2024, qualifying in February 2026 and moving to the Franchising team in April 2026.
