Benussi & Co has been acquired by national employee-owned law firm, Talbots Law.
The merging of the two businesses will open up a wider range of legal specialisms for the Benussi & Co client base, whilst for Talbots it strengthens our foothold and brings us into a prominent Birmingham city centre location. We see this acquisition as more of a partnership, bringing together Talbots national infrastructure and innovative technology with Benussi & Co’s long-standing reputation, recognised in the Legal 500 as being one of the best family law firms in Birmingham. Their team includes some of the leading divorce solicitors in the country.
Clients will now also have access to Talbots’ wider suite of specialist services comprising multiple areas of personal and commercial law.
It’ll be the same service provided by the same people in the same way, just with greater opportunity for further support when required.

The simple answer is “nothing”. Benussi & Co will continue to operate as normal, just simply as a trading name now of Talbots Law. The staff, office and commitment to service will stay exactly as you’ve grown accustomed to, just underpinned by a greater investment in technology and vital business infrastructure.
Will I still have the same solicitor?
Yes! The Benussi & Co team have joined Talbots and will continue to work on all existing files as normal. This acquisition is simply to provide additional investment and a greater range of services to the Benussi & Co community, delivered by the same faces you already know and trust.
Is the Benussi & Co office still open?
Yes, our city centre office on Colmore Row is still open and it is very much business as usual!
