We are looking for a motivated and eager-to-learn individual to join Talbots as a Paralegal. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in the legal field, with a particular focus on Probate, Wills, Trusts, and Estates.

As a Paralegal, you will support our Lawyers in the Trust and Estates team. Your role will include assisting with typing, legal administration, and general administrative tasks on a variety of client matters, all while developing your knowledge and skills in a supportive environment.

What does the job involve?

  • Supporting clients with professionalism and empathy across calls, emails, and other channels.
  • Drafting wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs), probate applications, and estate administration documents.
  • Managing client files through our SOS case management system.
  • Assisting with estate administration, including liquidation of assets and distributions.
  • Maintaining compliance with SRA, Lexcel, and Law Society Quality Standards.

What do you need?

  • A minimum of 6-12 months of experience within private client administration
  • A passion for delivering exceptional client care with effective communication skills.
  • Confidence using case management systems and Microsoft Office.
  • A proactive, organised, and detail-focused approach to work.
  • A collaborative mindset and a drive to keep learning.
