We’re always open to direct speculative enquiries from experienced local conveyancers who’d like to be considered for a role in our prestigious residential property department. New opportunities arise regularly at Talbots due to internal promotions (in line with our career development plans) and the increasing demand for our services from our loyal and established client & referrer base.

We are currently open to direct enquiries (no agencies please) for speculative conveyancing roles in the following locations:

  • Dudley New Build Purchases (specialist) Team
  • Dudley Panel Team
  • Codsall
  • Wolverhampton
  • Stourbridge

Talbots’ conveyancers have a 'can-do' attitude. Working as part of our established residential property department the ideal candidates will have experience of running their own conveyancing caseload and will have a genuine desire to develop their conveyancing practice and their career in property law.

After assessing the level and volume that matches your skills and experience you'll hit the ground running with your own caseload. You will have the wide-ranging support of senior lawyers, both locally and at other offices and of course paralegal and administration support in your local office. Our conveyancers enjoy being actively involved in the development of the department, which will include regular and structured training and opportunities to supervise and mentor paralegals and trainee solicitors. All whilst ensuring continuing compliance with SRA, Lexcel, Law Society Quality Scheme standards, SARs and accounting requirements of course.

Roles

  • Team Leader 3 years + experience of running own client-focused conveyancing caseload and a genuine interest/ track record in supporting career development.
  • Conveyancing Executive / Solicitor: 1-3 years experience of running own conveyancing caseload potential to progress to a Team Leader role in the future.
  • Paralegal (Foundation / Advanced): 6-12 months + of conveyancing administration or secretarial work.
  • Conveyancing Administrator: Entry level role for a career in conveyancing (Apprenticeship, graduate or administration appointments).
