Have you started a new business during lockdown?
- AuthorMike Linford
The majority of people will agree that 2020 has been both an unprecedented and unpredictable year. For many of us, our lives were effectively put on hold during the first lockdown and it was during this time where a large number of us participated in a period of self-reflection. As such, it came as no surprise when it was revealed that there was a rise in the creation of online businesses during that period.
We understand that it can be very easy to get caught up in the excitement when it comes to starting a new business (especially if it is your first time!) and this means that the legal formalities and obligations that come along with it are often forgotten about or pushed aside.
How can Talbots help?
Although we are entering into a second period of lockdown, Talbots are able to offer expert legal advice on all matters relating to your business – whether it came about as a result of lockdown or not! Although it is still “business as usual”, we admit that the "usual" does look different. Nevertheless, we have successfully taken instructions by phone, Zoom, Skype, email or by any other method that suits our clients, and we will continue to do so going forwards.
